Last-Minute Truffles.

Truffles sound like a project. They’re a fifteen-minute bluff. Melt a bar with a splash of plant cream, chill, roll, dust in cocoa. Lies on a plate, in the best way — and nobody needs to know it was last-minute.

You’ll need

  • 1 whole bar (your pick), chopped
  • 80ml plant cream
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder, for rolling
  • Flaky salt, optional

Do this

  1. Warm 80ml plant cream until just steaming — not boiling.

  2. Pour over a chopped bar, leave 1 min, then stir until glossy and smooth.

  3. Chill 30 min, until firm enough to scoop.

  4. Roll into rough balls. Rustic is the look — commit to it.

  5. Roll those balls in cocoa. Pinch of salt if you’re showing off. Plate, lie, repeat.

ContainsHazelnuts & soya (every bar). Plant cream may add oats / gluten or soya — check the pot. Brazil nut & pistachio bars add those nuts.
